-Miscellaneous Information/Features Confirmed-
- You have a different rank in Combat Training than in regular online multiplayer.
- Money: you need in game currency (called CoD Points) to buy perks, weapons, attachments, etc.
- All things that you throw (grenades) are on your right bumper, all the things you throw to confuse are on your left bumper.
- There are only 50 rank levels, and 5 prestiges. You start with 5 create-a-class slots and gain one for every prestige.
- In-match scoreboard shows current K/D ratio. GWK has returned.
- Callsigns return
- In-Match "Challenges" (like Buzzkill and First Blood)
- Guns appear to have recoil and sway again (thank god)
- Up-Dpad is Equipment
- Right-Dpad is Killstreak
- Maps are sectioned by a grid layout. Used for easy call-outs. EX: "Two enemies at D3; One sniper at A2."
- Dive-to-Prone. You cannot fire your weapon while doing this; it's strictly defensive.
- Objective markers will fade away when in view so as to not obstruct your view (ala S&D, DOM, Sabo, etc).
- Theater mode (YES, YES, AND YES)
- A multiplayer beta is being “considered.â€
- Callsigns have returned, but they seem to be downgraded. I actually like this, because the callsign was most of the reason for all of the boosting/hacking in MW2. This time they have less incentive.
- There will be “dedicated co-op†with separate levels (something to do with Nazi Zombies).
- You will be fighting the North Vietnamese Army in certain missions. Russia is also involved.
- Sprint to Prone. No long do you have to go through crouch if you're running to drop-shot; it's a diving drop into prone.
- There is no time period for multiplayer, meaning that any gun/equipment/vehicles from any era could end up on multiplayer. The reason they can do this is because the weapons the Black Ops operatives were all prototypes; anything could have been used.
- Treyarch is also focused on how to extend the game once you leave your console/PC (this is probably the video upload from the theater mode).
- Region filter will return. Leave with party feature sounded to be making a return. Host migration will be included.
- Auto-aim ("Sticky Aim") will have a toggle on/off option.
- Focused on preventing hackers/modders with a dedicated "security team."
- It looks like dedicated servers will be returning to the PC version.
- (For PC users) Modtools and dev console is confirmed (happy map-making).
