From more games I have played bugs wise the Hit reg or some are saying its the netcode that's causing it is really doing my head in.

I cant fully work it out as I am joining UK only servers some seem worse than others, one game I was the other side of the circular area near target A I think on metro at the 1st stage, enemy across from me, standing up and not moving, I unload an entire mag into him with the m4 at upper chest level and its not till the last 5 bullets of the mag reg and kill him.

Hope this is fixed because that will do my head in.

The obvious missing MP features for competitive play are gonna be a killer as well, although I never fully played BF2 i did enjoy the structure of it in the few competitive games I played, spawning only on a squad leader I prefer, comm rose and even commander for fun on public.

*EDIT*

Oh yeah getting the joining game, initializing then BF3.exe crashes again, fun and games.

Hopefully so DarkXeRoX,

I have been thinking over the requirements I have seen some of the guys on here have mention for BF3 to be 'acceptable' for competitive play, I wont go into listing them as they should be known by now. I have recently thought about when I played Medal Of Honor:AA Spearhead for years competitively as we didn't have anything to help us with the running of matches.

It was up to the server admin to restart the games when there was stoppages, after the stopped score was agreed by both sides a screenshot was taken, we had a community anti cheat system created to take random screenshot of players screens as we connect through the AC's client. There was however a spectator free cam and a few times we would have people recording demo's using it and it was mandatory for league admins to be in attendance for the big matches.

I guess what I am really saying is if there is at least a free cam and the ability to sit in spec then this game will still have a chance of being effective in competitive play.

its the demo recording thats a tad more important these days,

one of our matches on esl got deleted because neither side had proper proof of winning... this is bc2

the end round screenshots are easely faked and this portuguese team was just on a 11win streak and we messed that up and that prolly make them rage and fake the screenshots.

Without demo's its quite hard to sort out disputes in leagues unless we go frapsing our games or bs like that, spectator mode is more for the broadcast side of things. Wich is fairly important aswell, all these tournaments and such are soo much better if u can actualy watch the matches.

If lets say football wouldnt have the tv side of it it wouldnt be as big as it is.

Apperently acording to ea/dice the beta was mainly for stresstesting the servers so thats why the bugs wernt fixed n such, so hopefully they are fixed. BF3 felt allright, the 2 maps wernt all that bad but supose playing metro over and over and over makes hard to keep saying its an exciting map lol. Caspian Border well not all that bad either but with the pub play it was hard to play it properly like a team as half would be just sniping or hoggin planes n bs like that.

I think the best way to see what bf3 is realy like is to wait for its release and play with your friends/team and see how well it plays that way. Hopefully the squadsystem isnt as gay as it was in the beta. For competive play i actualy got high hopes for the game as it seems to deliver a fair bit what was promised in the beta. If it will be the right step to revive the bf competive scene. We can only wait for it to be released on the 25th to find out.

I do agree, touching on my past experience was from before leagues got organised on an old game so the precautions were not as intense and the community small.

I will be off trying to learn to snowboard before the 25th me thinks :D

When launch hits I will pop on TS if that's cool with you Rush folks for some pub play.
