As mentioned before the game is completely based around co-op, with the co-op modes reminding me very much of the save the hostage levels from game's like Rainbow 6, which was very popular across all platforms. You can play as a Rifleman, Auto Rifleman, Scout, and Grenadier, and as you continue playing these roles you gain exp to unlock new weapons and equipment. Best of all if one of your mates disconnects, the AI instantly takes over so the days where co-op games are ruined by a dodgy connection going off are but a thing of the past. Competitiveness between gamers online is assured as actions and speed result in an overall score being allocated at the end of each run through - so you can end all arguments of which clan has the best 4 man squad!
In conclusion this game is looking well worth a buy for any FPS gamer, especially those who prefer deeply tactical experiences, yet care not to go to the extremities of let’s say Arma. Red River looks sharp and the multiplayer modes are almost sure to be a hit with online gamers, and to me is a refreshing change from the crazy pacing of the more recent popular FPS releases over the last year.
